Manchester taxpayers will be interested to know that the Hackett Hill land no one would bid on is the same land the city could have sold for $1.25 million back in 2005.

The way the media treat him, President-elect Barack Obama's nickname ought to be "He Who Can Do No Wrong."

This editorial page doesn't often agree with Sen. Lou D'Allesandro, D-Manchester, on state budget matters, but when he's right he's right.

Manchester is putting together a list of its top priorities in case a sack of federal stimulus package cash falls from the sky. That's not a bad idea.

Here in Manchester, we are also going to remember 2008 as the year in which good people made the tough times easier for their fellow man.
